Create a dialog between these two. For each write in French a greeting and a leaving and a minimum of 4 other lines for each character using vocabulary and grammar that represents your level. (Not just Bonjour, but something that is much higher level.) Put the dialog in your notebook and record it on your log sheet. (32 points possible-writing activity)

Astérix Read about the characters. Learn about some of the stories. Make a list of 15 things you could figure out from the French site. Tell me who your favorite character is. Then find another site about Astérix and print out the first page. Cite your source appropriately. Record this activity on your log and put everything in your notebook. (25 points possible)
Parc Astérix This is the site for the Astérix amusement park. Explore the site in French and tell 10 things you can understand, including the names of some rides. (10 points) Log the activity and put the paper in your notebook.

DeVinci (short film made by a student) Imagine you are the teacher of this student. Create a rubric (10 points possible) in English for this project film, grade this project, then write a commentary of 40-50 words in French about the good parts of the film and often any comments to help this student improve for the next time. (35 points possible) Log the activities and put all papers in your notebook.
Les Vacances: Listen to the introduction of Ma France. Click on vidéo #17. Click: Start the unit. Review vocabulary and grammar. Watch vidéo #17. Then do the following acitivites: Quiz A (9 points) and E-mail (8 points). Record the activity and the scores on your log sheet.

Le Musée d'Orsay Tell me 10 things you learned about 19th century art from exploring this site in French. Then recommend five pieces pieces of art that everyone must see at this museum. Put the recommendations in your notebook. Log the activity and put the paper in your notebook. (15 points possible)
Van Gogh video-digital storytelling -Scroll down and find the Starry Night video. Watch this video, leave 2 comments of 10-12 words each on the blog in French reflecting and writing the way we have been describing paintings in class. (remember not to use your real name-use French name and class period, such as Pierre8) Record activity on your log sheet.
Les peintures: Une exposition d'art: Explore paintings from each of these artists. Look beyond the first page.Monet, Renoir, Mary Cassat, Van Gogh, Gaughin, Toulouse Lautrec, Picasso, Matisse, Chagall Then choose 2 paintings from each artist and put together a publication brochure that might be used to advertise an art exhibit of these paintings in a Francophone city in the world. Guernica de Picasso- Research this painting and the historical details behind it. Write a 5-7 sentence paragraph in English about this painting and its connection to histoire. (10 points)
Take two assignments we have done in class. Put them in your notebook. Reflect in English on what you learned from these activities. Also reflect on how you learned it, the challenges and mistakes you made during the learning process and how you are going to keep paracticing these items in order to acquire them.
Now write two paragraphs in English about the notebook activities you did this month. Include what you could do well, what challenges you faced and what mistakes you made before you finished. Elaborate how these challenges and mistakes helped you learn and research on your own. Add anything else that highlights your learning process.
